I got 0.3A(?) in a magazine back in 02-03, and in the beginning i did most of my racing off-line, but after a while i dared to go online and spent most of my time going "slightly" on the power-sliding side of racing just because LFS did all the counter-steering for you . So when KB-help was removed i had a really hard time with being able to go in a straight line, so i had to buy a converter for my PS1 DUAL-SHOCK to even be able to drive 'round the track in one piece :P. Then, a couple of weeks after S2 became available for sale i bought a License and have been a happy racer ever since.

This really shows how bad the original rims for the XFG XRG and XRT look. I tried a couple of the ones on the site and, damn the XRT looks much better now.

Quote from amp88 :You can download immediately with full bandwidth

Kinda the point of the internet isn't it? The only reason BT might be slower is PEBKAC
Quote from amp88 :there's no messing about with waiting for seeds

Most things i download have 100-1000 seeds by the time i get to them
Quote from amp88 :overcrowded public trackers

Isn't that kinda the point of BT? Besides, if you use a service like ISOHunt, you'll get so many trackers on one torrent it doesn't really matter
Quote from amp88 :registration to private trackers

I'm only registered to one Private tracker(norwegian stuff only) and i find with ease whatever else i want elsewhere
Quote from amp88 :upload ratios (before you start thinking I'm a leecher I have an overall ratio of about 0.3 with a connection of 2048/256, so I do my bit with torrents) etc.

Again, most stuff is freely avaiable on most public trackers.
Quote from amp88 :Personally spending £4.50 for 1 month (with a maximum bandwidth limit of about 150GB) is a lot better than messing about with torrents.

Suit yourself, I'd rather spend that cash on a pack or two of DVD-R's

I'd rather download it for free from a torrent-site. Doing a ISOHunt-search for "Top Gear", and then sort by file-size will get you a nice little collection, then all you'll need are the 2 last seasons and those are also easy to find.

Dude, it takes like 3 seconds to make it:
- Brake bias all the way to the back
- full pressure on the rear tires
- autocross
- handbrake: on
- trottle: on
- bo back and forth 1 time
- "do the tornado"

I haven't figured out yet how to spinn fast, but you'll figure it out eventually.

There's a lot of visual hints in LFS, and they all seem to match my brake, turn-in and accellerate-points. especially the tarmac seems to be repaved at those points. There's also been times where I've passed objects around the Oval in the FO8/BF1 and it's matched the beat of the music I've been listening to. Easter-egg?

There's no reason why you shouldn't be running the latest drivers. It's a standard ATI x-series in the MB Pro. I would recommend you use the Omega Drivers and the Radlinker Control panel add-on.

Quote from bugger :You can always use resource hacker or any other
Source raveling program on this it. (LFSTweaker).
For Example here is how it looks in "Res-Edit",
but there's many like it.

"Hex-workshop" works well.

qstomeq: I think you should get rid off StyleXP and just use the straight UXTheme.dll patch. You didn't PAY for SyleXP did you? Everything StyleXP does is basically stuff you can get for free elsewhere. Sorry if this is completely OT, i just hate TGTSoft :P

No contest, the DB9. Not that it's that much to look at really, but the Gransport looks to much like "design by committee"-stuff

Quote from Doorman :Here's a great story, a friend bought Vista Ultra, installed it and after a great deal of trouble(wouldn't recognise his mic for one) went on Windows Update and guess what? 70mb of updates, that's what! That's two days after its public release! For God's sake!

Oh, and if you want it in your own language it's a hefty 600MB to download/install. I stripped the Vista-disc for unnecessary fat, and came out at about 700MB, i DON'T want the laguage files to take up almost as much space as the OS :P

What is this Vista you speak of? Oh, was it that OS i got tired hearing about 2 years ago, and that's nothing more than MS way of saying to the gaming industry: "Hey, look we can spend years doing nothing, and then release a expansion that in reality changes nothing"
Vista's pathetic, and MS knows it.

Quote from JTbo :Even it could not care less how buggy sofware is going to be released, just remember, don't use uninstaller for beta, there has been several cases where all contents of C: drive has been wiped out.

I think that's what caused my last reinstall of XP. I worked for approx. 1,5 days trying to burn a decent XP-disc with my laptops crappy burner and the cheapest of cheap CD-R. Damn you TDU!
